An overview of the possibilities live video software and streaming tools provide for expanding the capabilities and scope of digital performance.

About the workshop

This workshop provides an overview of the possibilities live video software and streaming tools provide for expanding the capabilities and scope of digital performance.

We explore the concept of live and expanded cinema, working with live video tools such as Modul8, Resolume and Mad Mapper.

We also experiment with tools for interactive live streaming and screencasting such as Twitch and OBS. At the end of the workshop we produce an experimentation with these tools.
